Immersive product training for a global vaccine portfolio

Sanofi Pasteur · 100,000+ employees · Global
01
Background
Sanofi Pasteur is the vaccines division of Sanofi, delivering billions of doses annually across 170+ countries. The company needed product training that went beyond static materials — training that placed reps inside the clinical environment where vaccination decisions actually happen.
02
The challenge
Reps learned Hexaxim’s advantages through slide decks and PDFs — materials that explained what to say but never simulated how those conversations unfold in a clinic. The product’s key differentiator — a fully liquid, ready-to-use formulation versus reconstitution vaccines — required reps to handle real-time objections from healthcare providers about preparation time, handling errors, and cost. Without contextual practice, messaging varied across regions and reps defaulted to feature-listing instead of consultative positioning.
03
Our approach
From Sanofi’s SME-provided clinical content and 3D clinic assets, we created a fully interactive branching module. The experience opens in a 360° rotatable clinic environment, then branches into two scenario paths — ready-to-use and reconstitution — letting reps explore the clinical and commercial consequences of each recommendation and internalize advantages in context, not from a bullet list.

Key takeaway

When your product’s advantage is contextual — not just clinical — static materials will always fall short. An immersive experience that puts reps inside the HCP’s environment turns product knowledge into consultative confidence.
